Open 10 a.m.- 1 p.m., Monday - Friday
Located next door to the Key Center Library
The answers to these and many other questions can be found at the Key Senior Information Center (KSIC), a program of The Mustard Seed Project. The KSIC is located in the lobby of the Key Peninsula Health & Professional Center, next door to the Key Center Library.
Friendly and knowledgeable volunteers staff the KSIC from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m every weekday (except holidays). They also gladly respond to phone messages and emails while on their shifts.
Pamphlets and brochures on a wide variety of aging-related topics are available. Our volunteers also use internet resources and files of information supplied by the Pierce County Aging & Disability Resource Center and other sources.
This information and referral service is free and confidential.
The KSIC opened in August 2007. Eighteen local volunteers received three days of orientation and training from The Mustard Seed Project, Pierce County Aging and Long Term Care, and Franciscan Volunteer Services staff.
Our volunteers are devoted, responsive and constantly searching for up-to-date information on an expansive range of topics.
There's a world of valuable information available to you at the Key Senior information Center.
